Why Beehive?
Beehive is one of the oldest and most well established Montessori schools in Perth. The school started in 1977 with less than 20 children , and is today situated in purpose-built premises beside the sea in Mosman Park with more than 200 children.
Here at Beehive we pride ourselves on the authenticity of our Montessori teaching and learning, having invested heavily in Montessori training for our staff. We adhere strongly to the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) Montessori Curriculum, and many of our staff were involved in writing the Montessori National Curriculum submission to state and federal governments. This document articulates how we meet all state (SCSA) and national (ACARA) curriculum requirements.
