Makiko Fukuda – Librarian

Makiko is originally from Osaka, Japan and joined Beehive as a school library volunteer in February 2007. Makiko was given the opportunity to work as the library assistant to the teacher librarian and subsequently took over as the school librarian. Makiko completed a Diploma of Library/Information Services at TAFE in 2012 and her Bachelor of Arts (Librarianship and Corporate Information Management) at Curtin University in 2022. She also holds a Diploma of Business; an Associate Degree in Domestic Science and is qualified in Japan as Japanese Calligraphy teacher.
Makiko is pleased to be back in the supportive school community after taking parental leave.
