La Casa dei Fiori Our topic this term was Birds. The children learnt all about birds, their parts, lifecycle and different types- land and water birds etc. Last week the chickens hatched at school, which gave them the opportunity to see what they had been learning about. Our virtues program covered courtesy and gentleness. The children practice these virtues daily as they work with each other and care for younger children in the class. We welcomed Matthew Percic, Charlotte Harkins and Katelyn Young into our class this term. They are settling in well. We would also like to Congratulate Ian and Jane Tregonning-Barwell on the arrival of baby Agnes, Thomas is very proud of her. We would like to thank all the parents who helped in the class during the term. Mardi for making sewing cards, Leanne Robinson for doing the laundry, Deborah Colling for sweeping, Joseph Ohayon for cleaning the shed, and Robin Warburton for dusting. The children have had a very busy term and have worked really hard. We hope you all have a safe, happy and restful holiday. Maria &
