Screenagers-Growing up in a Digital World

Filmmaker Delaney Ruston is an American physician who experienced what parents worldwide are experiencing- watching children scroll through life. So she made Screenagers: Growing up in a Digital World.

The documentary reveals the drug-like effect screen time has on a teenage brain, with dopamine-the chemical released in the brain when we experience something pleasurable- lighting up with every ‘ping’ of an incoming message or destruction of a baddie in a video game. This documentary is thoughtful and provocative, stimulating discussion on technology and how we can empower our children to best navigate the digital world.

Screenings have taken place all over the world, and we are pleased to host ours on Wednesday 25th October, 7.00pm to 9.00pm. Tickets to cover the cost of the movie hire are $10 per family and available through Eventbrite on

It is essential that you book your tickets by 17th October so we can accommodate you and provide a light supper. Please invite interested family and friends to come along.
